Community Achievement:
• 1979 - Founded McHari International College, a non-profit post secondary educational organization.During the past 31 years, over 11,600 students have graduated and achieved various diploma and degree programmes. In addition, McHari International College has awarded $36 million in scholarship endowments by the Alcena Foundation to the Bahamian Society.
• 1990 - 2001 Launched the Developmental Skills Diploma Programme, which was registered and approved by the Bahamas Ministry of Education in 1992, headed by the late Mrs. Agatha Collie; the late Mr. Kenneth Palmer, former CEO of Bahamas Copier; and Mr. Kenneth Francis, C.B.E., former Publisher of The Nassau Guardian (1844) Ltd., along with 164 Bahamian teachers. I successfully organized a literacy programme for 600 young people, many of whom were involved in violent crimes.Through mentoring, providing positive role models and unconditional love, former gang members abjurated their criminal history and were taught educational skills.I adumbrated the consequences of persisting in their current lifestyle choices and assisted them through legal aid and job placement, free-of-charge. For example, one of the most notorious gang leaders of the Raiders in the late 1990s, Kelcy Lundy, took part in the Developmental Skills Diploma Programme. He was employed by Pepsi Cola Bahamas Ltd. (a job that I found for him) and worked himself up to Production Manager. He is now employed as Production Manager at Aquapure Bahamas Ltd. Kelcy is now married and owns his own home and apartments.
Many of the young people who completed the Developmental Skills Diploma Programme have gone on to become productive and successful professionals.I consider this to be one of my greatest achievements and contribution to the Bahamian society.
Scholastic Curricula of Achievements:
• Designed the Developmental Skills Diploma Program, which was registered and approved by the Bahamas Ministry of Education in 1992.This program was designed specifically for government corporations and the hotel industry to train their employees from remedial to college level.Individuals were tested using the Standard Aptitude Test, which included English grammar, comprehension, spelling, vocabulary and mathematics.

• Designed the world acclaimed “Alcena’s Principles” currently used by McHari in the Bachelors and Masters degree programmes in Convergent Technologies and Distributed Artificial Intelligence. These programmes were registered and approved by the Bahamas Ministry of Education dated May 2nd, 2001.[The Alcena’s Distributed Artificial Intelligence Principles are aimed at bringing together divergent approaches from various sub-fields and other disciplines to resolve conflicting organizations. This programme is the first of its kind in the world and has been designed to assist with computational systems such as knowledge-based systems, or multi-agent systems that are impacted during problem solving or during communication.][The Alcena’s Convergent Technologies Standard recognizes the need for a collectivity approach by adopting the tools of human interaction – images, video, sound and text – and digitally transmits, stores, combines and manipulates all the approaches into ingenious ways that are still being discovered and perfected. This programme is also the first of its kind in the world, which would impact students and the business community by exposing new and exciting opportunities in communication methodologies.]
